About Older Driver Assessments NSW
Created by Assessors for Senior Drivers
Independent Older Driver Assessors
Older Driver Assessments was created by accredited Older Driver Assessors who understand both the licencing system and the needs of senior drivers. We created Older Driver Assessments to support senior drivers in New South Wales who need to complete their driving assessment.
Unlike general booking platforms, we are assessors ourselves. We understand the licencing system in detail, and we recognise the importance of supporting senior drivers and their families through what can feel like a complex process.
Currently, to book an assessment, seniors or their families currently visit a government website to search for assessors.
The search results show a list of assessors. The senior then calls around hoping to find someone available. If calls go unanswered, the process starts again. For many, this is stressful and confusing. Attending a Service NSW centre can also be challenging, with long waits, ticket systems, and assessments conducted in unfamiliar areas. Older Driver Assessments was created to change this.
